Is an Amsterdam-based design studio for textiles, fashion, and accessories. With knitted designs as a specialization. Beautiful materials, exciting combinations of materials, and an unconventional application of the knitting technique are the trademark. What it once started with - designing for and inspiring other designers - has evolved over time into the brand: Knits For Your Inspiration.
Qualitime?
Slow fashion, which has now become a trend, has always been the starting point; working on beautiful products, made with attention, regardless of the issues of the day. Good designs last and are not for a season alone. From 2002 to 2010 the collection was knitted in the Textile Museum in Tilburg. Since the purchase of a high-quality industrial knitting machine in 2010, the entire collection has come from their own studio in Amsterdam. This guarantees high quality and small runs, no mass production, and a lot of flexibility.
Simone van Eerdenburg
This renowned designer attended the fashion department of the Minerva Academy in Groningen, after which she received a starting stipend from the Fund for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture in 1989. From 1991 she built up experience as a designer Knitwear, including for Didi fashion and Another Woman, until 1998, the year in which she established herself as an independent designer. In the early years, her designs found their way into international design collections including those of Donna Karan, Missoni, Etro, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Nike. Since 2002 she has used her designs for her own collection, which she regularly presents and exhibits at home and abroad.
