Succesful collabaration
Erik de Nijs and Tim Smit both graduated in 2009 at the Art Academy of Utrecht and have been working together on various projects. The collaboration was such a success that they decided to continue as a design duo. The duo continued under the name 'Nieuwe Heren'. In 2012 they designed a series of Barrel lights for the brand New Duivendrecht. Their interest is not limited to the design of home accessories and furniture. They have also left their mark in areas of fashion and graphic design.-
