Van Tjalle and Jasper was founded in 2012 by Tjalle Niehof and Jasper Kuijl. After years of friendship, together they decided to jump into the deep end and start a business. Knowledge and experience was not lacking: Tjalle was trained as an industrial designer and Jasper has worked for years as a furniture designer. Tjalle and Jasper complement each other perfectly and know how to constantly create new and unique items.

Tjalle and Jasper have a large workspace at their disposal. They not only design their furniture but also build it. All furniture is designed and manufactured on Dutch soil.

Van Tjalle and Jasper combine classic shapes and contemporary techniques, with unique lighting being the end result. Besides lighting, van Tjalle and Jasper also create other interior objects, including tables, chairs and shelves.
