NL365 - A Year in the Netherlands

Unique photo document: a photo of the Netherlands every day of the year

NL365 is without a doubt one of the most comprehensive photo books ever published about our country. Iconic images of windmills, Amsterdam canals, and tulips go hand in hand with contemporary themes such as agricultural innovation, dance festivals, Dutch design, and modern architecture. The rich history of the stubborn but tolerant Dutch also comes through clearly. With this, top photographer Frans Lemmens brings together all facets and disciplines in which he excels, and shows the Netherlands with all its beauty and specialness to the world. Lemmens shows us the vibrant Netherlands. This voluminous book is a feast for the eyes and an ode to a beautiful country.

Frans Lemmens and Marjolijn van Steeden

Frans and Marjolijn met each other in 1989 in Bolivia. They have lived and worked together ever since. For years they traveled the world to write travel reports for many magazines, including National Geographic Traveler. They undertook some unique expeditions: visiting Antarctica with the Chilean Navy, flying around the world in a Catalina PBY-5-A flying boat, and crossing the Sahara by camel and foot in a traditional Tuareg salt caravan. Since 1993 they have published a number of books about the Netherlands, including 'Visions of the Netherlands', The Netherlands from the air, and The Netherlands at its best. NL365 - A Year in the Netherlands is the latest edition, already called the Magnum Opus of Frans Lemmens by Barnes&Noble.
