About Vincent van Gogh
Van Gogh was born in the Netherlands and later lived his life in Paris and others parts of France. He didn't live a happy life and nobody liked his paintings. He only sold one painting throughout his entire life. He was unable to make a living for himself and always had to knock on his parent's or brother's door for money. He became an alcoholic and was brought to a psychiatric hospital. Here he decided to fully concentrate on painting. Vincent Van Gogh passed away on July 29, 1890, and left behind more than 850 paintings.
