By cleverly combining the different metals Metalbird birds, you attract some birds while scaring off others. A convenient feature of this Dutch design!
Dutch birds of metal
Dutch designer Henk Lakeman is a carpenter by profession and familiar with working with wood and steel. During a trip to New Zealand, he was inspired by his friend and artist Phil Walters to create bird silhouettes of Corten steel. Back in the Netherlands, Lakeman made several Dutch bird species into bird decorations. The metal birds by Metalbird are available as an owl, magpie, woodpecker, blackbird, wren, a swallow couple and Robin.
Trendy bird decoration
The metal Godwit by Metalbird is made from 4 mm thick Corten steel, a material that gets its rusty color from weather effects. Thus, the Metalbird Godwit has a natural look that is both hip and durable. Once fixed, you do not have to worry about it anymore! The bird silhouettes are also available in the Dutch bird species such as the owl, woodpecker, blackbird, robin, wren, a swallow couple, and kingfisher. A nice design accessory for the garden, at the edge of the waterfront of the ditch or a pond. The Metalbird bird Godwit is 32 cm high and 23 cm wide. The placement is simple. You just have to spike it into the ground!
