Vlamp tea light holder and spotlight
Vlamp S of Pols Potten is a simple yet spectacular spotlight, that makes optimal use of warm, light flickering candlelight. This special light – a design of Jacob de Baan – is equipped with a highly reflective golden glaze that strengthens the light of a tea light by reflection and thus sheds a surprising amount of light on wall or ceiling. Dynamic Vlamp light
While burning the tea light, the flame drops gradually due to the burning of the candle wax. Because the Vlamp reflector has one focal point, there is first a light converging beam of light, and with the burning up of the tea light a spotlight and then a slightly diverging beam of light.

Jacob de Baan is a creative professional with over 25 years of experience in product design and visual communication. He studied interior design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and industrial design engineering at Delft University of Technology.
