Vlamp tea light holders and spotlights The Vlamp tea light holders of New Duivendrecht are simple yet spectacular spotlights, that make optimal use of warm, light flickering candle light. This special light – a design of Jacob de Baan - feature a high-end reflectors (8 or 18 cm ø) that strengthen the light of a tea light by reflection and thus shed a surprising amount of light on wall or ceiling. You can even illuminate a painting with the innovative Vlamp. Dynamic Vlamp light While burning the tea light, the flame drops gradually due to the burning of the candle wax.. Because the Vlamp reflector has one focal point, there is first a light converging beam of light, and with the burning up of the tea light a spotlight and then a slightly diverging beam of light. Designer Jacob de Baan chose durable materials: reusable pure aluminium and a foot of palm wood for the "Raw" versions.
